How To Have Unity In The Church

What are our motives for unity?

1.   Our love for Christ                            V1; Eph. 4:3, John 17:20-23,

2.   Our love for the Spirit                           V 1  

3.   Our love for our leaders                           V 2;  Hebrews 13:17

The key to unity is:

1.   Having the same mind                        V2, 2:5, 3:15

       * Thinking on the things of the spirit of God_________                       Rom. 8:4-5

       * Thinking with sound divine judgment___________                     Col. 3:2, 12-16 

2.   Having the same love                       V 2; Rom. 12:10

3.  United in one spirit                               V 2

4.   Intent on one purpose                                    V 2

5.   Eliminate selfishness                        V3

6.   Eliminate any need for personal glory_____________ V 3

7.   Humility of mind____________________ V 3

8.   Put others first_____________________ V 4
